To teach predominantly KS3 classes in Biology and Mathematics for the Summer Term.

The maths department is staffed by seven full-time members of staff who share the teaching responsibilities. The department teaches Mathematics to IGCSE (Edexcel) for all pupils in Years 7 to 11; pupils are taught in sets by ability. The department is housed in its own rooms and is well resourced with a range of textbooks and other resources.
The biology department is staffed by five full-time subject specialists, each with their own fully-equipped laboratory, supported by a full-time technician. Pupils follow the Exploring Science curriculum in mixed-ability classes in years 7 and 8, leading to the CIE IGCSE Coordinated Science which is taught from Year 9. If you have a strength in Biology and can also deliver quality Maths teaching we would love to hear from you.
The post would suit both recently qualified and more experienced graduates. A willingness to enter fully into the life of this busy school will be expected.
